Bio – References

Dr. Paul Frehner is a New Hampshire Licensed Psychologist.

I received my doctorate degree in 1996 from the Clinical Psychology program at Antioch University in Keene NH. I also hold a masters degree in creative arts therapy from Lesley University. Prior to moving to the States, I worked as a teacher, social worker and creative arts therapist in Switzerland, my country of origin. Upon receiving my doctorate, I worked as a psychologist at a residential school for multi-handicapped children. In addition, I have  worked for several years as a senior staff therapist at Monadnock Area Psychotherapy and Spirituality Services (MAPS). For 12 years I have worked as a School Psychologist in a New Hampshire High School. I am trained in Family Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy, Breath Therapy (Atemschule Klara Wolf), Teenage Issues, Parenting,  as well as Psychological Assessments, EMDR and Natural Processing (somatically based EMDR).

Techniques and strategies I utilize in my treatment are: Natural Processing (Somatically Oriented Psychotherapy), Insight Oriented Talk Therapy,  Internal Family Systems therapy, Mindfulness Practice and Meditation, as well as Creative Arts Therapy approaches. 

I am a father of four, I have two grandchildren, and I love to travel and enjoy the good things in life. I am looking forward to meeting you.
